Merry Christmas 2015 everyone!

Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2016 from Andy and I here at Ardnamurchan Charters, Laga Bay. We're looking forward to seeing lots of old friends and meeting new ones throughout the coming year. Whether you're visiting the area and hiring one of our boats to explore Loch Sunart independently, coming along on one of our wildlife trips which run from about April to October (depending on weather and sea state), staying with us in Laga Lodge on the Ardnamurchan mainland or supporting the Carna Conservation Initiative and staying on the beautiful, unspoilt and unique Island of Carna we're looking forward to seeing you.
Laga Lodge and our cottage on Carna are clean, warm, comfortable and fully equipped with everything (that we can think of) to make your self catering holiday perfect. We're always available for any help, advice or support you might need during your stay and if there is any information we've missed on our website please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Ardnamurchan is the perfect holiday destination, far enough away to be exciting but providing an unspoilt wilderness and the best wildlife watching in the uk whether it's terrestrial or marine. Even better, by holidaying in Ardnamurchan you'll be supporting the local fragile economy and providing employment for local people thereby sustaining Ardnamurchan's infrastructure of schools, medical services etc.

Well it's been a wet old winter so far. We have family and friends in Cumbria who have suffered in the recent floods and send our thoughts and best wishes to everyone who has been affected, devastating to homes and businesses.
It's been dry and sunny here today (hurrah) but I believe more storms are forecast for the country as a whole. Let's hope it means a hot and sunny summer.
I thought I would share this photo I took earlier today looking over Loch Sunart from the garden above Laga Lodge in today's sunshine.
Best wishes,
Allison
